Stock & sales systems for SMEs

A complete system for a distributor or retailer: goods in, goods out to your shops, each shop's daily sales, and the difference between the shop's book and yours — valued in naira.

  • Balances calculated from the records, never typed
  • Nothing deleted: a mistake is reversed, and both entries stay

How it works

Simple, and the same three steps every time.

  1. We talk — 30 minutes. You describe how the business runs today. I ask the awkward questions: who keeps the books, who holds the money, and where figures disagree.
  2. You see it working — in days, not months. I show you the system with your own items and your own figures, on your phone. Nothing is promised that you have not already seen running.
  3. Your staff are trained, and I stay reachable. One session for the person entering the data, one page of instructions, and support after — because a system that is not used is money wasted.
Running today: a building-materials distributor with a warehouse and two market shops. Goods are issued to the shops, each shop invoices its daily sales, the accountant checks those invoices against the money in the company account, and the owner sees the whole position — stock, money and differences — from home, with a summary at 7:30pm every evening.

The system was built on his own item list and his own opening stock count, and it runs on a private server he controls. Client names are not published.

Figures below are what I normally quote for a small business. Every engagement is quoted in writing before any work begins.

Payments: half on agreement, half when the work is handed over. Hosting is paid yearly in advance, because the server is paid for yearly.
